Under the divine guidance of H.H. Rajrajeshwar Guruji, International Siddhashram organised the biggest Holika Dahan at Harrow Civic Centre, witnessing an overwhelming participation of thousands. This magnificent gathering was a celebration and a profound affirmation of Sanatan Dharma beyond India’s borders, serving as a beacon of interfaith harmony and cultural unity.
Speaking at the event, H.H. Rajrajeshwar Guruji expressed, “Our efforts to strengthen Sanatan Dharma and preserve our culture and values will continue as long as Hindu Dharma exists. Following the ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ principle—The World is One Family—we are committed to fostering inclusivity and interfaith dialogue. This Holika Dahan represents the eternal victory of righteousness over evil, a reminder that dharma will always prevail no matter the challenges. It is a testament to our unwavering faith, our traditions, and our cultural strength.
Following this sacred ritual, the festival of colours—Holi—is being celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm. Holi signifies the vibrancy of life, the spirit of unity, and the dissolving of all barriers of caste, creed, and status. It is a festival that reminds us that, in the end, love, joy, and togetherness triumph above all.”
The mayor of Harrow, Cllr Salim Chaowdhury, said, “It is an honour to stand here today at this magnificent celebration of Holi, a festival that embodies joy, unity, and the spirit of togetherness. Holi is not just about colours—it is about spreading happiness, embracing diversity, and strengthening the bonds of friendship among communities. The event was graced by seven former Mayors, assembly members, councillors, esteemed officers from the Metropolitan Police PC Elaine Jackson and Fire Brigade, British Army officer Mr. Ashok Chauhan interfaith community leaders, and a vast congregation from the Indian diaspora. Their presence underscored the universal spirit of Holi—love, togetherness, and cultural inclusivity.
Following the sacred Holika Dahan, the festival of Holi brought the entire community together in a spectacular display of colours, music, and joy, symbolising the triumph of good over evil and the eternal message of unity in diversity.
