London. The International Siddhashram Shakti Centre proudly announces the return of its much-awaited Traditional Navratri Garba, now entering its 17th year under the divine guidance of His Holiness Rajrajeshwar Guruji. This year brings special joy to the community as Navratri will be celebrated for 12 days instead of the usual nine, due to the occurrence of two Pancham followed by Dussehra and Sharad Poonam.
The celebration will run from 22 September to 2 October 2025, followed by the grand Sharad Poonam Garba on 5 October. The doors at Harrow Leisure Centre (Byron Hall), Harrow, HA3 5BD, will open at 7:00 pm each evening, with Garba starting promptly at 8:00 pm. Entry for children under three is free, and attendees will benefit from three hours of free parking.
This year’s theme, chosen by HH Rajrajeshwar Guruji, is “Folk Dance Yoga (Garba) for Mental Health and Interfaith Harmony”, reflecting the unifying power of music, dance, and spirituality in strengthening community bonds.
A Celebration of Culture, Music, and Community
The Garba nights will feature spectacular live performances by renowned singers from Gujarat — Yutika Barot, Disha Patel, and Kiran Patel — accompanied by a special music ensemble from India. Visitors will also enjoy authentic hot food stalls, cultural stalls, and vibrant festivities throughout the celebration.
Tickets will be available online, with proceeds going in aid of charity, continuing the Siddhashram Shakti Centre’s tradition of service to society.
“Navratri is not just about dance; it is about devotion, discipline, and togetherness. Through Garba, we hope to inspire our youth to embrace their cultural roots while spreading a message of interfaith harmony,” said HH Rajrajeshwar Guruji.
The Traditional Navratri Garba has become a landmark cultural event in Harrow, bringing thousands together each year in joy, devotion, and unity.
This year, the festival is additionally celebrating the 60th anniversary of the London Borough of Harrow Council. Let’s unite to honor interfaith harmony, spread joy, and support local charities for worthwhile causes.
