Hindu communities’ prayer, the Hanuman Chalisa, for the Jewish community affected by the Golders Green ambulance attack.

Thursday 26th March, Representing the vibrant Hindu communities, a heartfelt prayer—the Hanuman Chalisa—was offered in solemn solidarity for peace, resilience, and unity in support of the Jewish community affected by the Golders Green Ambulance Attack.

It was a distinguished honour to lead a unified delegation of community representatives in my capacity as Chairman of SACCI on a solidarity visit to the Jewish Care Centre, following the distressing incident of arson directed at community ambulances that provide essential services to those in need, free of charge.

This visit served as a compelling emblem of unity, notably conducted during the sacred celebrations of Lord Ram Navami. Despite the observance of this significant festival by many members of the Hindu community, representatives from diverse backgrounds congregated in a spirit of compassion and collective responsibility, exemplifying that human solidarity transcends all divisions.

Our delegation comprised distinguished members from the NCGO-UK, including President Vimal Odedra and Vice President Jitubhai Patel, alongside Mr. Kanti Nagda from Sangat Centre, Ms. Sarika Handa representing IIW, and community leaders Mr. Dipak Vora and Mr. Ajay Agarwal. We were also profoundly honored by the esteemed presence of His Holiness Shri RajRajeshwar Guruji, whose spiritual guidance continues to inspire unity and peace.

In a poignant display of collective harmony, His Holiness Shri RajRajeshwar Guruji, Founder and Spiritual Leader of the Int Siddhashram Shakti Centre (UK/IND and USA), conducted the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa. This act was performed in unison by members of all communities present, serving as a prayer for peace, strength, and solidarity amidst these challenging times.

We hereby extend our sincere gratitude to Jewish Care for their generous hospitality. Our appreciation particularly goes to Chief Executive Officer Daniel Carmel-Brown, Rabbi Junik, Naomi Creeger, and the Board of Directors for their gracious reception and ongoing dedication to serving the community.

This visit served not merely as an act of support but also as a reaffirmation that, in times of adversity, our communities stand together—resilient, united, and resolutely committed to peace.
