Soulful Hanuman Jayanti celebration led by HH Rajrajeshwar Guruji unites devotees, dignitaries, and community leaders in Harrow.

London, 2 April 2026:
Siddhashram Shakti Centre UK marked the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti with a deeply spiritual and unique celebration centred around the collective recitation of 108 Hanuman Chalisa, held from 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Siddhashram, Harrow.

The highlight of the event was the soulful chanting led by His Holiness Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji, who rendered the Hanuman Chalisa in a variety of classical ragas, creating a powerful and immersive spiritual atmosphere. He was accompanied by the dedicated musical team of Siddhashram, alongside the participation of hundreds of devotees.

Speaking on the significance of the Hanuman Chalisa, HH Guruji emphasised that it is not merely a hymn but a profound spiritual guide. He noted that the verses of the Chalisa offer timeless lessons in devotion, courage, humility, and righteousness. “Each line carries deep meaning—guiding individuals towards inner strength, discipline, and unwavering faith. In today’s world, there is so much to learn from the life and values of Lord Hanuman,” he said.

The event stood as a testament to Siddhashram’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Sanatan Vedic culture, moral values, and devotion (bhakti) through community-driven initiatives. A particularly heartwarming moment was witnessing young children reciting the Hanuman Chalisa entirely from memory, reflecting the successful transmission of cultural and spiritual values to the next generation.

The celebration was further honoured by the presence of the Metropolitan Police team, led by Officer Alex Ross. Addressing the gathering, Mr Ross reaffirmed the police’s continued support for community initiatives and appreciated Siddhashram’s efforts in promoting peace, harmony, and unity. He also introduced attendees to the Metropolitan Police’s community engagement platform, Met Engage, encouraging active public participation.

In a symbolic and visually moving conclusion, devotees, under the guidance of HH Guruji, illuminated their mobile phone lights and collectively offered this light to Lord Hanuman at the completion of the 108 recitations. Devotees also offered laddva (sacred prasad) to the Eight Murtis of Hanuman Ji during the chanting and concluded the ceremony by offering flower petals in devotion.

The event witnessed the presence of councillors, portfolio holders, former mayors, and distinguished dignitaries from across the United Kingdom, highlighting its wide-reaching appeal beyond the local community.

The Hanuman Jayanti celebration at Siddhashram once again demonstrated how faith, music, and collective devotion can bring communities together, fostering unity, positivity, and spiritual awakening.
