Mother’s Day celebration with Strory, mother of Hanuman ji, and the Chalisa.

Mother’s Day Celebrated with Devotion and Values at Siddhashram through Hanuman Chalisa Chanting
London.
The spirit of devotion, gratitude and family values marked a special Mother’s Day celebration at the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre in Harrow, where devotees and families gathered for a unique spiritual programme centred around the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa.
The event was led by His Holiness Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji, who shared inspiring insights into the life and virtues of Hanuman Ji’s revered mother, Anjani Mata. Guruji highlighted how the values instilled by a mother shape the character and strength of a child, drawing a powerful connection between the life of Hanuman Ji and the role of mothers in nurturing courage, devotion and righteousness.
Addressing the gathering, Guruji emphasised the importance of involving children in religious and cultural activities from an early age. He noted that introducing the younger generation to the principles of Sanatan Dharma helps them remain connected with their roots and values. Through the initiatives of Siddhashram, such programmes aim to inspire children and families to understand and practise spirituality in their daily lives.
The celebration became particularly touching when children participating in the programme offered flowers at the feet of their mothers and sought their blessings, symbolising respect and gratitude for the love and sacrifices of mothers. The young participants also chanted the Hanuman Chalisa with devotion and shared heartfelt reflections about their mothers, expressing what they mean to them and how they planned to celebrate the day with gratitude.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, the trustees of Siddhashram honoured special guests Nitinbhai Palan, widely recognised as an interfaith champion, philanthropist and social innovator, and Kamuben Palan, a respected yoga teacher and community contributor, for their dedication to service and community harmony.
The spiritually uplifting programme concluded with a traditional Aarti, bringing together devotees, families and children in an atmosphere of devotion and unity.
Siddhashram continues to organise regular spiritual gatherings and learning sessions for the community. Devotees are invited to participate in the Hanuman Chalisa spiritual strength session, led by HH Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji, where participants explore unique methods for cultivating inner strength, devotion and discipline through the sacred chant.
Such initiatives reflect Siddhashram’s ongoing commitment to promoting spiritual awareness, cultural heritage and family values within the community.
