Prayer for Peace Observed in Honour of Pahalgam Tragedy Victims

London, 24 April 2025 – Guided by the divine presence of His Holiness Rajrajeshwar Guruji, the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre held a poignant Prayer for Peace to honour the innocent tourists who tragically lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, India.

The reflective gathering occurred at Siddhashram Dham, where devotees and community leaders united from 6:00 to 7:30 pm to pray and contemplate the principles of unity, peace, and compassion.

In his address to the attendees, HH Guruji shared a touching message:

“We must prioritize strengthening our internal unity. Even in our physical absence, we can still offer heartfelt prayers. Let’s express our love and concern for our homeland and Sanatana Dharma. It’s crucial to protect and uplift humanity. Despite any anger we may feel, now is the time to come together and pray for peace. By supporting others today, we ensure that someone will stand by us tomorrow.”

The event featured a collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa and other sacred prayers, guided by Guruji. A moment of silence was held to honor those who have lost their lives. Members of the Sikh community also participated in the prayers, demonstrating the essence of interfaith solidarity. Deputy Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Anjana Patel, who attended the gathering, shared her condolences:

“This is a profoundly painful tragedy in India. Although we are miles away, our prayers and actions should signify our collective grief. We must stand united with our Sanatana Indian brothers and sisters. This serves as a wake-up call—we need to come together and stay alert to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.”

Many individuals from various backgrounds gathered for the prayer meeting, standing together as a unified stance against terrorism and in favor of peace, healing, and resilience. The International Siddhashram Shakti Centre remains a symbol of spiritual guidance and humanitarian initiatives, sharing the enduring message of Sanatana Dharma, which promotes unity, truth, and compassion for everyone.
