Siddhashram Dham Witnesses a Night of Devotion, Bhakti, and Bliss on Janmashtami

Inspiring Teachings and Grand Festivities Mark Janmashtami at Siddhashram Dham

16 August 2025, London. In the divine presence of His Holiness Rajrajeshwar Guruji, Siddhashram Dham witnessed an unforgettable celebration of Shri Krishna Janmotsav on Janmashtami night. From early morning till past midnight, the ashram resonated with the sound of bhajans, mantra chanting, and the collective devotion of hundreds of devotees who came together to honour the birth of Lord Krishna.

The evening festivities began at 8:00 pm and continued till 12:30 am, immersing the devotees in a spiritual atmosphere filled with Krishna bhakti, soul-stirring bhajans, folk dances, and inspiring discourses by Guruji.

In his profound message, HH Rajrajeshwar Guruji emphasised the eternal relevance of Lord Krishna’s teachings:

“The essence of Krishna’s life is the victory of dharma over adharma, love over hatred, and truth over illusion. Being born as a human is a divine opportunity—if we do not engage in good karma, compassion, and service to humanity, then we fail to understand the true meaning of life. Let Krishna’s life be our guide to live with courage, humility, and devotion.”

At the stroke of midnight, as the moment of Krishna’s birth was welcomed, the ashram erupted with chants of “Nand Gher Anand Bhayo, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki!” Devotees rejoiced as the atmosphere transformed into Vrindavan itself, brimming with divine energy and joy.

A deeply symbolic ritual followed, where Guruji lovingly performed puja to a little child adorned as Baby Krishna (Laddu Gopal), symbolising the birth of the Lord. This sacred act filled the hearts of devotees with bliss, reinforcing the innocence, purity, and divinity that Krishna embodies.

The celebration concluded with the grand aarti, where hundreds of lamps lit the night in a mesmerising display of collective devotion, uniting all present in prayer for peace, prosperity, and the welfare of humanity.
