London, 27 April 2025— In a poignant and respectful homage to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Sanatan Youth Voice UK held a special ‘Prayers for Peace’ event, which culminated in a Candle March at Piccadilly Circus, London. The solemn gathering attracted a large number of participants from the British-Indian community as well as others, all coming together in a shared call for peace, compassion, and unity.
A key moment of the evening was the presence and address of His Holiness Rajrajeshwar Guruji, a respected spiritual leader and fervent advocate of the universal principles of Sanatan Dharma. As he led the peace prayers, HH Guruji recited the Gayatri Mantra, Mahamrityunjay Mantra, and the Hanuman Chalisa, seeking divine blessings for strength, healing, and the victory of good over evil.
In his insightful message, Guruji stated,
Today, we come together in a spirit of peace and resilience, offering our prayers for those who tragically lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack. Our prayers reinforce our collective strength and bring us closer to the timeless ideals of Sanatan Dharma: peace, humanity, and unity.
The event also featured the presence of Pandit Shivpuri Ji Maharaj, Councillor Hitesh Karia, Pruthvi Patel, Paramjit Singh Kohli, broadcaster Ravi Sharma, and Pt Mayank Dave, along with the committed team from Sanatan Youth Voice UK. Many spectators and passersby, touched by the gathering’s message, spontaneously joined the march to pay their respects and show their support.
