The International Siddhashram Shakti Centre UK is organizing an Independence Day celebration on Friday, August 15th. This day, known as India’s Independence Day, is a significant national holiday that commemorates the country’s liberation from British colonial rule on August 15, 1947. It serves as a moment to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and to acknowledge the beginning of a new era in India’s history. Our chief guest will be Dr. Ramdas Bandu Athawale, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, along with HH Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji, the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr. Anjana Patel, council members, and community leaders.

We will feature a special performance by the youth from Siddhashram, along with the national anthem accompanied by unique Maharatyean dhol. Light refreshments will also be provided.
