Historic Sant Sansad in London calls for global peace, unity and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’

Revered saints from India and across the world unite at landmark Harrow gathering; spiritual leaders honour H.H. Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji as International Siddhashram Shakti Centre UK celebrates 25 years of Sanatan seva

London | Friday, 14 August 2026

In a historic gathering of saints, spiritual leaders, civic representatives and communities in London, International Siddhashram Shakti Centre UK hosted a landmark Sant Sansad at Byron Hall, Harrow Leisure Centre, bringing together revered spiritual leaders from different traditions with a collective message of world peace, harmony, unity in diversity and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — “the world is one family.”

The grand gathering formed the centrepiece of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of International Siddhashram Shakti Centre UK, marking 25 years of spiritual, humanitarian and community service under the leadership of Sanatan Dharma Bhushan H.H. Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji.

The Sant Sansad created a unique platform where saints representing different spiritual traditions shared one overarching message: while cultures, traditions and paths may be diverse, humanity is one, and the timeless values of Sanatan Dharma can make a meaningful contribution towards a more peaceful and harmonious world.

Grand welcome and traditional ceremony
The programme began with a ceremonial welcome for the revered saints. Young girls and trustees of International Siddhashram Shakti Centre performed the traditional pujan and welcome of the saints, reflecting the Sanatan tradition of honouring spiritual wisdom.

A special Deep Prajjwalan ceremony formally inaugurated the gathering. The ceremonial lamp was lit in the presence of Padma Shri Bob Blackman CBE MP; Cllr Marilyn Ashton, Deputy Leader of Harrow Council; Deputy Mayor of Harrow Cllr Mina Parmar; H.H. Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji; and Sanjay Giri, CEO and Managing Director of Network 10.

Cllr Marilyn Ashton, Bob Blackman MP and Deputy Mayor Cllr Mina Parmar addressed the gathering, acknowledging the contribution of International Siddhashram Shakti Centre and the importance of community cohesion, faith, service and mutual respect.

Saints honour H.H. Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji in an extraordinary Silver Jubilee tribute
One of the most moving and significant moments of the evening came when the assembled revered saints honoured H.H. Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji one by one, offering their blessings and congratulations on the Silver Jubilee of International Siddhashram Shakti Centre UK.
The saints recognised Guruji’s 25 years of dedicated service outside India in strengthening Sanatan Dharma, connecting communities and promoting peace, harmony, spirituality and unity.
The collective blessings of so many revered saints made the occasion a defining moment in the Centre’s Silver Jubilee journey.

Addressing the Sant Sansad, H.H. Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji reaffirmed his lifelong commitment to Sanatan Dharma and service to humanity.
“For 25 years, our journey has been one of seva, unity and Sanatan values. I will continue to do everything within my capacity to strengthen Sanatan Dharma, unite and connect people, and take our timeless values to the wider world.
Sanatan teaches us not to divide humanity, but to connect it. Our message is peace, harmony, compassion and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the whole world is one family. The time has come for us to work together, beyond differences, and make these values a living force for future generations.”
Guruji thanked the saints who had travelled from India and other parts of the world, as well as community organisations, public representatives, trustees, volunteers and devotees who supported the historic gathering.

A Sant Sansad for the world
The formal Sant Sansad was conducted by Sanjay Giri, CEO and Managing Director of Network 10, who served as compere and guided the spiritual dialogue.
Under the wider theme of “Two Cultures, One Message”, the saints reflected on subjects including world peace, Sanatan values, harmony, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and Unity in Diversity.
A recurring message throughout the Sansad was that spiritual and civilisational values should not remain confined to temples, scriptures or individual communities, but should contribute actively to addressing division, conflict and social fragmentation in the modern world.
The saints emphasised dialogue rather than division, service rather than self-interest, and respect for different traditions while recognising the shared humanity that connects all people.

Sant Sansad global initiative unveiled
A major development of the evening was the unveiling of the Sant Sansad initiative, envisioned as an international platform dedicated to advancing the message of peace, harmony, spiritual dialogue and human unity.
Revered saints will be associated with the initiative as patrons, with H.H. Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji playing a key role in taking its vision forward.
The initiative aims to build upon the historic London gathering and create an enduring platform through which spiritual wisdom can contribute to conversations around peace, community cohesion and shared human values internationally.

Another striking moment was the unveiling of a specially created large-format Hanuman Chalisa printed on cloth , which received blessings from the assembled saints.
