A reception was held at Lancaster House on behalf of His Majesty’s Government of the United Kingdom.

 

London Wednesday, 12th November, a reception was convened at Lancaster House on behalf of His Majesty’s Government to commemorate a successful year of UK-India relations and to acknowledge two Prime Ministerial visits. The event was presided over by Ms. Seema Malhotra MP, Minister for the Indo-Pacific, and attended by Mr. David Lindon Lammy, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

 

Numerous community and faith leaders participated, including representatives from Hindu and Sikh communities. HH Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji, founder of Siddhashram-UK, and Mr. Mahesh Liloriya attended on behalf of the Hindu community. Additionally, His Excellency Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh, spiritual leader and Chairman of the Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha, UK, was present representing the Sikh community. It was indeed a pleasure to witness the gathering of community leaders and prominent business figures. We extend our sincere gratitude to His Majesty’s Government for hosting this esteemed event.

It was also a delight to engage with and converse alongside Virendra Sharma, Karan Bilimoria, a member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom, as well as Shaileshbhai Solanki and Mahesh Liloriya from the Asian Media Group, regarding the ongoing role of community media in enhancing UK–India relations.
