Purushottam Masa, also known as Adhik Masa (Extra Month), is an intercalary month incorporated into the Hindu lunar calendar approximately every thirty-two months to synchronize it with the solar year.

This auspicious period, dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Purushottam), occurs in 2026 from May 17 to June 15. It is characterized by heightened devotional activities, including fasting, charitable acts, and the study of scriptures, all aimed at accruing spiritual merit. Under the auspices of His Holiness Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji of the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre, the observance of Shrimad Bhagwat Parayan is promoted, and the act of giving charity—such as Annadanam and Malpua Daan—is strongly encouraged during this sacred time.
