Shri Ram Navami, which commemorates the birth of Lord Rama, is celebrated with great enthusiasm across India during March or April. Devotees engage in special prayers, fast, chant “Ram Naam,” read the Ramayana, and participate in processions (ratha yatra) featuring idols of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman, especially in Ayodhya.
